Make an egg face mask at home:

1. Plain egg white:

If you’re planning to use egg whites on your face, you may sometimes feel like not adding any other ingredient everyday. In that case, just egg white is a great choice to go with.

You can just scoop out the leftover whites from the shells after cracking them and simply apply on your clean face in the morning.
Leave it on for 15-20 mins and then rinse it off with plain cold water.
Doing this everyday will fade away scars overtime, also you’ll notice that your pores have shrunken, and fine lines are gone now.

If you’re in the mood to step up the game and make your face mask more powerful and effective, follow these recipes, please make sure you’re using it 3-4 times a week only.

2. Egg white and oats:

  • To prepare the mask, crack the egg and collect 3-4 tablespoons of egg white in a bowl and whisk it for a while to make it frothy.
  • You also need to ground some oats to make fine powder, you can use around 1 cup of oats and store them in a tight jar bottle for later use.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of oats powder into the egg white.
  • Mix it all well and let it rest for 5 mins.

Apply it all over your face and neck and let it sit for 15-20 mins. After that you can just rinse it off with cold water and leave the skin to air dry.

3. Egg white and aloe vera:

  • To prepare the mask, crack the egg and collect 3-4 tablespoons of egg white in a bowl.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel, you can use a store bought gel.
  • Whisk it to mix it well and after 5 mins just apply it all over your face and neck
  • After 15 mins you can wash it off and leave your face to dry.

If you have acne prone and sensitive skin then you must try this mask, aloe vera in the mask will help restoration of natural moisture over time also, it’s helpful in fading away acne scars on regular use however, if your skin doesn’t respond well to the aloe vera, you should avoid using this ingredient, you should try the next recipe.

4. Egg white with castor oil:

This recipe works for dry or sensitive skin very well, if you’re allergic to aloe vera then this your best alternative because castor oil helps prevent acne and fades away the scars on regular use. Castor oil contains fatty acids that will help moisturize your skin by penetrating deeply into pores and give you intense moisture.

  • Get the egg white approx 2-3 tablespoons into the bowl
  • Add one tablespoon of castor oil
  • Mix it using a whisker or a spoon.
  • Apply it all over the face, leave it for 20 mins
  • After 20 mins you can wash it off and leave your face to dry.

This will help fight acne due to excess oil production in skin also, give you a healthy glow and moisture.

In conclusion, the egg face mask is a simple and effective way to improve your skin’s appearance. With just a few ingredients and a little bit of time, you can easily achieve glowing, healthy-looking skin as well as get rid of acne marks and blemishes.

I don’t recommend using lemon juice in any face mask and the main reason is that we cannot avoid sun and even though we wear sunscreen or sunblock, the skin will still get exposed to the UV rays and vitamin C from lemon juice makes the skin sensitive to sun and pollution which may darken your skin afterwards hence, avoid using lemon on your face to fight acne scars and depigmentation. Instead use Vitamin C serum before going to bed and apply coconut oil as a second layer. This will add more benefits in skin health and help you achieve younger looking skin within 2-3 weeks.
