This year’s Met Gala is going to take place on May 6th, 2024, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
An unofficial list of celebrities has been posted on the Internet, claiming the invitation has been sent out to the A-list celebrities mentioned down below.
Some celebrities have also confirmed their arrival; however, some top A-list celebrities, for example, Priyanka Chopra and Beyonce, may skip this year.
The most controversial moments at the Met Gala 2024 are yet to be witnessed because Selena Gomez has also confirmed that she is coming. Taylor probably would have confirmed if she hadn't been busy with her Era Tour.
So here’s the list of Met Gala VIP guests who are invited this year, keep reading to know who is going to be there to celebrate "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion".
1. Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce both received the invitation however, it has been confirmed that Taylor is not going to attend due to logistical problems.
2. Selena Gomez
According to the Official Gala, Selena Gomez will be attending this year.
3. Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra has attended the event multiple times in the past; however, this year she is not going to be there because she is currently working on a movie shoot.
4. Beyonce
It seems that Beyonce may skip this year too.
5. Lisa
Lisa has been in rumors ever since, even more than the other members of the BLACKPINK group. It is confirmed that Lisa is invited, and there is speculation that she will be attending this year.
6. Jisoo
Jisoo hasn’t spoken or dropped any hint yet; hence, it is not confirmed that she will be attending.
7. Rose
There are speculations that she may not be coming; she once attended the Met Gala in 2021, and she was invited by the creative director of YSL (Saint Laurent), 'Anthony Vaccarello'.
8. Jennie Kim
She was invited; however, she may not be coming.
9. BTS
BTS is one of the groups to reach the top. We may see them at the Met Gala. If they are attending, it will be their first time.
10. Emma Chamberlain
Emma has attended the Met Gala as a co-chair. Emma has seemingly confirmed that she will be there this year too.
11. Zendaya
Yes, Zandaya is going to be there, as she is the co-chair for this year along with others.
12. Bad Bunny
Bad Bunny is one of the co-chairs, so he will be there at the Met Gala.
13. Chris Hemsworth
This will be the first time for Chris Hemsworth to attend the event, and that would be as a co-chair.
14. Jennifer Lopez
JLo is also going to be there; she has attended the Met Gala in the past, and this year she is going to be one of the co-chairs.

For those who don’t know, Jenna Ortega earned fame after the success of the Netflix series "Wednesday." She did attend the Met Gala last year; neither she has confirmed it yet nor there are any speculations that she will be attending the event this year. But we can definitely expect her.

Lil Nas X has made appearances multiple times, so we can be assured that he is attending.

Lily Rose Depp may appear this year, although she skipped the last Met Gala.

We can expect him at the Met Gala this year.

Charlie and Dixie D’amelio are social media influencers who were invited to the Met Gala 2022; however, due to being underage, they skipped the event. We are not sure if they are coming this year or not.

Cara Delevigne will be attending the Met Gala to celebrate fashion this year.

Hailee Steinfeld never fails to impress the audience with her Met Gala look. At the 2021 Met Gala, she was barely recognized; her blonde bob made her look like a brand new girl on the carpet. However, since 2021, she hasn’t been seen on the carpet, so let's hope to see her this year.
