Met Gala 2024 is here, all of the fashion icons are arriving one by one on the carpet this year celebrating the theme “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”
Dress code for this year is “The Garden of Time.” and today we are witnessing Nature-inspired couture.
The celebration of fashion blended beautifully with the essence of nature is what this year’s Met Gala is bringing on the carpet.
1. Zendaya
Arrival of Zendaya was nothing less than mesmerizing and magnificent. Her comeback after 5 years was head turning. She brought nature on the carpet, and her dramatic eyes reflected confidence, proud.
Her dress looks royal, a masterpiece, her breathtakingly beautiful gown is inspired by Christian Dior, Spring Summer 1999 and designed by Maison Margiela Couture.
On the Red Carpet, she posed with her long time stylist and a friend, Law Roach.
Kendall, a fashion icon, looked different this year in McQueen’s fall 1999 looks for Givenchy haute couture.
3. Phoebe Dynevor
Phoebe arrived in a custom Victoria Beckham gown, that’s giving us a revival of platonic sweet love vibes. Phoebe looks like a fairy in the sheer pink rose dress. She carried the dress elegantly while walking on the red carpet.
Really impressive!!!
4. Mindy Kaling
Mindy Kaling stole everyone’s attention with her vibrant and mesmerizing looks. She wore a dress designed by Indian designer Gaurav Gupta. The dress has a long train and has fabric draped around her body to give a natural shape of flower petals.
5. Jessica Biel
Jessica Biel arrived in a hot pink dress adorned with intricate petals and a beautiful smile. Yes, a floral gown looked simple but grabbed everyone’s attention. She told how she prepared for the Met Gala which includes her taking a bath for 30 minutes in 20 pounds of epsom salts. Mind blowing!!!
6. Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez, one of the co-chairs along with Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth and Bad Bunny. She arrived on the red carpet in a sheer gown by Schiaparelli couture. She looked hot and elegant both at the same time, her makeup and her hairstyle matched perfectly with the gown and the theme. Jennifer Lopez's arrival was worth waiting for.7. Chris Hemsworth
This is Chris Hemsworth's first time at the Met Gala. He attended the event with his soulmate, love of the life, his wife Elsa Pataky. Elsa Pataky wore a golden long-sleeved gown and gold accessories. The head crown and a bubble ponytail hairstyle complimented the whole look. Chris Hemsworth wore a beige Tom Ford suit and accessorized the whole look with a watch on wrist and rings.8. Sabrina Carpenter
Sabrina Carpenter arrived in a black gown with a blue and white bubble train attached at the bottom which clearly was telling us that she is the princess on the carpet this year. Her look for this year’s Met Gala was outstanding and mesmerizing.
She came along with her boyfriend Barry Keoghan. Both together were giving Disney movie vibes.
9. Lana Del Rey
Lana attended the Met Gala and she understood the assignment. Her look on the carpet is out of the box, under the sheer veil she looked as if she is mother nature resting underneath a tree. She looked peaceful. The way she carried her head crown was so elegant. Just like nature her dress was also simple and beautiful. Her makeup, hair accessories, and her smile created a perfect balance.
10. Nicole Kidman
Nicole Kidman stepped on the red carpet in black and white gown flamenco inspired dress, a custom Balenciaga dress designed by Demna Gvasalia.
To compliment the dress, she wore make-up no make up look, winged eyeliner that goes well with black feathered skirt attached to the gown, and white gloves, a bracelet on her right hand wrist.
That was something really out of the box.
11. Bee Shaffer
Bee Shaffer attended the Met Gala in a gown by Alexander McQueen. The dress was straight out of imagination.
13. Sarah Jessica Parker
Sarah Jessice Parker is widely known for bold fashion ideas that reflect in her outfits. She attended the Met Gala after a long period of time as it was the celebration of the theme: Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.
The sculptural bird cage gown was simply outstanding in front of the fans. It was embellished with rhinestones and floral lace and headpiece to match with the dress. She was looking beautiful and stunning on the carpet.
14. Shakira
Shakira chose to slay. Yes, Shakira looked bold in the red hot dress by Carolina Herrera. How could it be possible to keep your eyes off the dress? This was her first time at the Met Gala event. Let’s hope to see her every year now.
15. Dove Cameron
Dove Cameron attended the Met Gala event with her boyfriend Damiano David. She wore a sheer, long-sleeved floral Diesel dress designed by Glenn Martens.
Damiano David also wore a suit by Diesel, both complementing each other. The black suit has lace cutouts, no buttons down underneath it.
